>Much has been made of the so-called “Brawl In” between Jack Perry and CM Puni. Although some details of the altercation are still being investigated, CM Punk seems to already be on the offense. In an email sent to Fightful, an insider close to the situation reported the following:
>Punk has long Covid, he says it makes him anxious and he’s very concerned people are trying to take advantage of his reduced mental state. He’s also been on edge since Bray Wyatt passed. Punk told his close friends in the locker room to try and mask up so he doesn’t catch Covid again, he’s very nervous about that. After the 4 of us left he locked the door and started running what’s called a Corsi cube, basically 6 air filters taped together to filter the air around a fan.
>Jack Perry went home and Punk started saying “he might have Covid! He wants to kill me!” as security took him to his locker room. I can’t really blame Punk for his reaction, I don’t want another dead wrestler if we can avoid it. He overreacted a bit but I understand he has Covid brain fog.
