Nothing its still the same business, its always been like this. See Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart in 1995, WCW in 1999 and 2000 etc. Its just now we're in the Social Media era we learn about it live as it happens and not 20 years later in some shoot interview.

He'd get it even worse than he gets today. Nowadays they just make jabs in promos or on Twitter, or they'll have words and pick fights. Back in the 80s and 90s they'd have legit got the whole locker room together, done a fake court process, rendered him "guilty" and that his punishment be "rape", tied Punk up by a shower pole, stripped him and pretend they were gonna rape him until he starts crying then point and laugh at him.

If Punk was around in the 90s doing what he does now, he'd be one of those "We all shit in his bag" stories, or even worse one of those "We shit in his sandwich and he ate it" stories. Punk would not be able to handle 90s wrestling locker rooms.
