Brock is usually very businesslike. While he drives a hard bargain, it also makes him usually pretty easy to deal with because he's not interested in the drama of "the business", he wants to go to work, clock in, do your job, clock out and go home.

So if you do have a disagreement, you can talk about it later and sort it out. Now, Vince is hardly a normal person either but he can do that.

Apologise for what? Punk was the 2nd or 3rd top guy in WWE, featured on TV nearly every week, and nearly every pay-per-view. He was given what was the longest title reign of the era. He was given the freedom to do 'shoot' promos that no one else would have been able to get away with. He was well looked after at WWE, but it wasn't enough for him. He had to be John Cena, and that was never going to happen

WWE is EXTREMELY careful about what they show in their documentaries, if this was a shoot they just wouldn't have shown it. Hell, you see smarks complain all the time about WWE putting their "revisionism" in their docs.
The entire Brock vs. Roman angle that year was built on backstage stuff ("Brock Lesnar didn't show up to work today", "He's Vince's boy", etc.) So why the fuck wouldn't this be?
