Yes their combat experience does give them a big edge that they otherwise wouldn't have but the way people seem to think of it is like if someone is equipped with a gun to a knife fight and the gun wielder has at least a 30 yard advantage over the knife wielder. This is just absolutely a poor way to look at it. I'd guarantee tons of neckbeards on here even could last a few minutes with the lowest level UFC fighters or guys who ended up being so damn shit in UFC they didn't even get contracts past a fight or two like that Michael Jackson guy who beat Punk.
Punk having trained for a year or two if true is definitely some points in his favor though. He probably could beat most of those emaciated zoomers with no fighting experience we see on AEW like Jack Perry or Marko fucking Stunt who was legit a 100 pound midget.
