He could have people. Problem is it's all just Usos and in-fighting now. Though even if he did it'd just go back to the same monthly built up challenger to lose to him. People either forget or act like it wasn't the case but the Bloodline shit was tired and stagnant for so long until Sami got involved. Even Cody was just another rinse and repeat challenger. The story between him and Roman was so far beyond forced. The funny thing is when everyone expects Cody to win at this next Mania when I actually wouldn't be shocked to see Roman retain again.

I feel like, in a shoot sense, it’s bullshit that Roman is only choosing to work with his family for the rest of the year. No challengers or even anyone interacting with him on screen outside of his family. Just hog up space on TV with their corny melodramatic acting. Roman does a spiel, Jey stands there looking dejected for a minute and finally replies. The difference between them and the rest of the rosters interactions on the mic is staggering. For example, LA Knight and Miz don’t stare at each other saying nothing, they just speak in a pace that people normally do, if that makes sense. Sami made the entire Bloodline story. They can’t hack it without him. Their corny acting that they think is worthy of an Emmy can’t save it, their god awful wrestling (when they rarely do wrestle) can’t save it, nothing can save it.

Yeah, the internal drama kills these type of angles. The money is always watching outsiders take them on, with or without backup. Having to watch months of the Bloodline implosion is shit. Wrestling works best when its simple, not trying to be deep and nuanced. When a stable finally implodes and they fight, that should be the end, never drag it out with swerves and turns to keep it working.

Realistically, Riddle would've been good before he got himself into all the stupid shit. Now he'll probably never be trusted with anything. Knight at a B-PPV, could be interesting. And, I guess SEth who is the only guy to get a win on him.

But you're really picking at shit with those three. He really did not need the belt for the Bloodline implosion. And now WWE is entering it's dead period of Fall, except there is even less to look forward towards.

Remove the arbitrary number of days he has the title

What does he himself bring that no one else could? Promos? Nope. Matches? Nope. Appeal to some greater audience? Nope.
You take Austin or Rock out of their matches and programs and they can't exist, they're essential in what they bring. Same with Flair or Hogan or Angle or even more recent ones like Danielson or Omega.

It could kind of be anyone in Reigns' position as long as they have basic competency.
