He mentioned Hunter 2 times by name, one of which was to note the time he buried him on TV for being skinnyfat. At no point did he "kiss his ass" He relentlessly sucked off Harley Race and Piper and Dusty. That was kissing ass. Saying HHH's name is not "kissing his ass." Especially when one instance was him remembering how cold and shitty he was towards him when he was at his tryout match.

I don't think you understand just how expensive lawsuits are in America whether you are the plaintiff or defendant. The Amaan defamation trial and the ensuing lawsuits with Cabana drained him of quite a lot of his money. He needs AEW more than he is willing to admit which is why he hasn't quit outright like he did WWE in 2014 when he was far more financially stable, pre- all the lawsuits he got himself into. The Amaan defamation suit in particular was designed by WWE backing Amaan to drag out as long as possible and drain as much money from him as possible.

He wanted to go back to WWE and tried to weasel his way back through their 3rd party talk show a few years back, but Vince put the kibosh on that and with MMA and Hollywood off the table he was out of a job so he had not choice but to go to AEW.

He would give anything to be in Cody's spot right now. But that's what you get when you burn bridges with literally everyone -- eventually you run out of friends and you run out of options.

Once he fucks up his AEW deal he's done, he'll have to scrap by by doing straight to DVD horror movies and MMA commentary.
