Nash is blatantly not as smart as he pretends he is, and lies constantly, but he was also extremely charismatic, and made funny quips. Now though the decades of pill and alcohol abuse seem to have finally caught up with Nash and his brain is fried. He can barely form a sentence, tons and tons of dead air as he tries to formulate a thought, and when he does finally get something out, he gives boring short bland answers.
