It always annoyed me when a guy would lose the title and then go back to the midcard. Sami is a good example, dude almost won the belt and now is just doing tag bullshit. obviously in real life not everyone can challenge for the title but in tv show logic it doesnt really make sense

Idealy you'd have some kind of ranking system behind everyy fued. That way every match would make sense and have an extra layer of story to it. Similar to time limits.

You need to fight dudes to earn rep, so that you eventually get a shot at the champ. From the promoter's point of view, if the belt changes owners constantly, it means less as well. Champ matches are the big money matches you put on a PPV. They don't have random guys challenging the champion on a random event in MMA either
