Jericho is one of the best choices, and you can have him kill him the match after. It ends the streak and it gives Jericho something to do. He was too over for midcard at that point. Same with guys like Raven and Benoit who were over but kind of stuck where they were.
Some people said Steiner, but forget this wasn't the real Big Poppa Pump era. He had the look but Steiner's initial couple of months was pretty bad.
DDP was another good choice and he was at the cusp of being of the same level of overness.
Nash isn't terrible but it was the wrong time for that match. Later down the line, sure. But Starcade should've been Nash vs Hogan.
Personally, I would wait until Summer of 99, Steiner (who starts getting his character but gets injured around this time), Sid, or DDP beat him.
