>>11388676I vividly remember this WM because I skipped out on 21, 22, 23, 24 and barely saw 25. I enjoyed 26 overall, but I remember 27 for Rock’s involvement. It was a truly horrendous WM. The whole thing was to set up Rock vs. Cena at WM28, an entire goddamn year away. It makes you wish Rock didn’t show up at 27. Should’ve just waited until the RR before WM28, no? I don’t get it. The host gimmick sucked so bad. If you experienced WM27-WM29 in real time, it fucking SUCKED. It was so goddamn slow. It’s easy to watch in hindsight and appreciate it since you can watch it all in one go, but at the time, you had The Rock live via satellite or not there at all. Maybe they’d pull up a tweet. So you’d just have Cena cutting promos on The Rock by himself while Cena would do filler feuds in the meantime. The important thing was still Rock/Cena and WWE never let you forget it. Truly sucked to sit through in real time.
