There's nothing to stop Shawn in that proposed three match series to finally get a pinfall win over Hogan and then fake an injury and wait until Hogan's contract expired before miracalously returning. Shawn just wanted the one thing not even Bret got; a clean pinfall win over Hogan and Hulk knew it. Make the money and have the match that Vince wanted and that's the end of it because working further with Shawn may draw just as much but does absolutely nothing for Hogan in the long run.
Shawn having his little flagrant tantrum and flopping around like one of Nash's black dildoes in the ring and doing that just goes to show that the whole redemption thing of him being a forgiving Christian is still a facade he leans on and that he's still the spiteful little brat that he always was.
