It's 1999, and Jack Perry is in his 3rd year in WWF. The Undertaker, being the locker room leader, had taken Jack aside and told him not to use real glass in a pointless spot on Sunday Night Heat.
Jack wasn't happy about that, not one bit... Backlash came around, and in the opening match of the show, it was Jack Perry vs The Godfather for the Intercontinental Championship. Perry had used real glass, because it was a PPV so it was at least approved. He looked right into the camera after doing that, and said, "It's real glass, cry me a river!"
Later in the show, on the way to wrestle Ken Shamrock, the Undertaker ran into Jack Perry, and before Jack could say anything, the Undertaker punched him in the side of the head, and knocked him out. He stepped over his unconscious body and went out to wrestle Ken Shamrock.
There was no drama, because it was 1999, and not 2023, the top stars like Austin, The Rock, and Triple H, as well the owner Vince McMahon laughed their asses off.
Dave Meltzer reported it in the observer, but no one cared. The end.
Jack Perry learned a lesson that day...
