Everyone gets to go through the NXT performance centre where they do forward rolls and pace themselves a specific way so the TV people can do their formulaic production.
That means every wrestler wrestles the same way in the same style. The only difference is their moveset, and moves that overlap always get performed identically.
It's at the point where if a new Steve Austin showed up on the main roster and he's working his own style, kicking ass and taking names, they'd send him to the performance centre, beat the shit out of him, and prevent him from standing out before letting him get over again.
Some guys adapt quickly, like AJ Styles and Knight.
Others don't, and languish in NXT.
