According to Skip Sheffield, CM Punk called Triple H after Tony Khan informed him of his release. However, Triple H blocked Punk's number.
Skip added that Punk has decided to take a flight to Pittsburgh as he wants to show up with the Real AEW World Championship at Payback tonight.
