One of my favourite PPVs of all time is Fully Loaded 2000 where 3 established superstars in Rock/HHH/Taker took on 3 younger guys on the cusp of something great who all needed that final push to break into the big time in Benoit/Jericho/Angle. 3 big singles matches to show that the younger guys could hang with the established ones and that they were the future of the company.
That's what All Out felt like to me.
Moxley/Omega/Danielson are proven stars, proven greats, proven champions, proven flag bearers of AEW. Tonight they faced three younger guys who are on the cusp, and who all needed that one big match on a big stage to feel like they truly belong on the level of the others in Cassidy/Takeshita/Starks.
And all three of the younger, less proven guys delivered big time, and showed that they can hang at the top with the best of the best.
