Those "turn your brain off" movies tend to rely on flashy fights, explosions and fan service, much like how AEW wrestlers rely on getting their moves in, obviously choreographed looking spots, and AEW as a whole relies on "le epic dream matches" with shitty or no build ups, surprise returnerinos/debuts for cheap pops and the likes. On the contrary, WWE relies on actual storytelling (the quality of which is subjective), slow match ups with actual in ring psychology and selling, much like the other more matter rich movies that the anon is talking about
