He then started giving them these tests and initiation rituals of sorts to see who was truly worthy of being in the Nexus after he brought in the members of NXT season 2. I remember they caned Justin Gabriel at one point. The old Nexus members didn't buy into Punk's new direction and went off to start the Corre (kek) over on Smackdown. I think it culminated into a big fight on the Royal Rumble.
Looking back, it really wasn't so bad in theory. They had something to do every week. They just jobbed too many times and didn't get anybody else over other than the Welsh beast Mason Ryan who was Vince's boy. Cool logo however.
