Not sure how many bongs actually was English Championship football, but I'd imagine it would be like only Championship games all day on Saturday and only Premier League games all day on Sunday. Alabama vs. Texas would be like if United and Arsenal got relegated, then put on prime time on Saturday

It's hard to put in to words. It ends up becoming more about regional pride that the schools themselves. Like you can live in buttfuck West Virginia but you have a team that represents you and that produces a ton of rivalries since there's so many colleges within driving distance of each other.

College football is a really fun sport. Every game counts and losing one game can take you out of title contention. There's also always a fun end of the year screwjob angle where someone doesn't get into the 4 team playoff. The angles during the BCS era got mega heat with undefeated teams not even making it in.
