I always thought PRIDE was professional wrestling promotion not because amount of pro wrestlers there but because of how grandiose everything was and how moves looked very pro wrestling like.

PRIDE was peak of pro-wrestling and peak MMA at the same time

OP, there's a holy grail of Pride footage that has been missing for years, and those are the original Japanese broadcasts. They had based VTRs like this one, that was missing from the DVD and PPV American releases

Pride was soooo good. Shame ufc won’t adopt their rules.
