I guess the Observer reported Hogan (or was it Macho) was injured and wouldn't be working the show....but it turns out he was OK and was working it, so Hogan cut a promo on the newsletter saying "This is what we call a rag sheet" and saying "Observe THIS, brother!" then lighting it on fire.

it was Macho Man who was shoot injured and he refused to not work because it would prove Dave's report to be correct. So he wrestled on the injury and made it even worse than it needed to be to try and prove dave wrong. In the end Macho was hurt even worse and now more people than ever before were made aware of what The Wrestling Observer is and that it exists at all.

I was at this show and was 9 years old. I'll be honest I didn't really think anything of what Hogan said at the time. The only notable thing was the fire growing out of control and them getting concerned about it until it was extinguished
