Never got him. I watched his ROH stuff, it was pretty much a group of Indy darlings that anointed Bryan head Indy darling because he came back from Japan and knew all these cool moves. Everyone pretty much was just so in love with Bryan they let him go over in a way where the company clearly pushed him as the best of the best. I guess that’s technically what a top guy was back in the day, but it’s just weird because who cares at the end of the day? Oh this guy Bryan Danielson came back from Japan let me put him over by letting him kick my chest in like he thinks wrestlings real. Never got him, but happy for him otherwise.
