>>11549922>>11550050This is honestly not that strange of a goal. Pro wrestling used to be treated as a legit athletic contest. Contrary to what the kiddos think today, adults and even older kids knew pro wrestling was a work as far back as at least the 70s, but there was suspension of disbelief due to its presentation. If WWE can return to a real sports presentation akin to, say, NWA of the 1980s, while still keeping some over-the-top angles and storylines (but presented as though real), then I could see UFC fans becoming interested.
The same sort of people that watch UFC today were the sort that would have watched pro wrestling back in the 70s and 80s.
