Is Ric Flair the most overrated in ring wrestler ever? To pre face this, I know that back in the day when everyone was wrestling a punch kicky style of wrestling, Flair was probably the best in North America, but after rewatching his stuff recently in the modern day, he absolutely bores me.

He has such a repetitive moveset that it makes his one hour matches seem not that impressive when he only does about 5 moves. He doesn't do any chain wrestling, he just does moves. He is a terrible storyteller, it doesn't matter who he wrested or the storyline, he will wrestle the exact same matches spot for spot. People deride Hogan for being formulaic, but if you've seen on Ric Flair main event match you've seen all of them.

Is there something I am missing about Flair? Sure he's a good bumper but that doesn't make a good wrestler.
