I actually think they do it this year for cornette and the midnight. philly is a close enough drive for cornette and you know trips is a bobby eaton mark--they used to tag in wcw.

Tony love Corny, if Tony got his way Cornette would have mentored the elite and helped with the booking of early AEW. Probably won't do anything live cause even he has to know his fans are animals. And you'll get the bucks passive aggressively doing Midnight moves or more likely a tennis racket spot. FTR will probably do an on screen tribute too.
WWE will give him a title card and maybe the HOF.
