I ignore the rape and console wars. I like some shitposting and genuine discussion. The thing is, the rest of the internet is filled with such heavy moderation. It’s like another anon said. This isn’t really an echo chamber or safe space. It just is what it is and it’s more reminiscent of early internet culture. Reddit is filled with people trying to make unfunny jokes to be the top comment and you can’t call anyone out for being a faggot there. I won’t do that. Plus with forums where you have to sign up, they have their own culture. They have their cliques and stuff, it’s lame. For me, it’s overall a mix of hating every other forum and I like the anonymous aspect.
