The Matrix-inspired gimmick they gave her, which might have been cool a year or two earlier, just came off as kind of cringe (it was right after Reloaded came out and it felt like they were trying too hard, IMO). She dropped the belt to Molly Holly after a month, and turned heel, which was an improvement, but then she got injured and never really regained momentum before she was released. TNA was where she really became a star.
