Tony was a big PWG mark too, that's probably the major contributing factor as Cole was the guy on top when AEW were ethering NXT so I'd doubt many of the AEW viewers were interested in seeing him. His MJF storyline has reversed his anti-draw status for now though, I have to give him that.
