I want the match to happen but the downside is the winner will be too easy to predict. Roman is definitely going over here because he's a current-roster wrestler despite being part-time. They're just using Dwayne's presence to increase views and publicity. You can't let an Attitude era legend win the strap at Wrestlemania 40, even if it is Rock. That would be taking a huge shit on every top wrestler currently in the company

Even I have to admit that with the Bloodline thing going it wouldn't make much sense to try to force Cody in for a triple threat
The Rock/Reigns feud will most definitely be Bloodline-based. You need a singles match to resolve that, Cody would be a glaring third wheel

honestly, I think a way it could work is if you have the good Uso, Ko, sami and Cody kinda team up together. not form a group but be in good works together.
while evil uso, Roman and solo still do their thing. and solo can turn on Roman at mania.

They want a marquee match to headline WM with so I get it. Mainstream-wise it's more appealing, though Cody Vs Roman II is more appealing to most wrestling fans. Having a triple threat is a classic appease everyone and please no-one situation. Tough call.

Every base-10 Wrestlemania had the top title in the company won by a face wrestler on the active roster who wasn't necessarily a draw but was well-liked by the fans. Those guys were Bret Hart, Chris Benoit and Daniel Bryan
