they're mad because Jade is a perfect example of Tony not knowing shit about the wrestling business. she's a surefire superstar, and he somehow fucked it up. Tony could be handed Goldberg in 1997 and he'd have him in tag matches losing to 5'5" manlets.

She 100% has the physic and the look of a champion, but her in ring ability is not great. She moves slows and stiff like molasses. Which is fine for quick squashes, but she can’t go full matches.

People were pretty happy to point the finger at Tony months ago but I guess if she's gone then she'll shoulder that blame now. Once it was obvious she was sectioned off from the female "stars" during her Goldberg run it just became impossible to care. She ran through complete nobodies and any stories were built on Tony's worst tropes like pointless infighting with the baddies or his obsession with using the lawyer character. She definitely needs ring time and real experience but that's not uncommon in AEW.

If you're not with the Young Bucks's programme and don't think that Tony Khan is GOD among bookers, you're a failure in their eyes.
So when Jade Cargill was asked to job on her way out and she kvetched about it on Twatter, while also burying the wrestling industry and outhoganing the Hulkster with carny shit in interviews, the AEW marks kvetched in turn.
