I stopped watching wrestling around 2011 in my 20s because I was busy doing cool 20 year old shit like getting laid and smoking weed with friends.
From what year should I start watching wwe if I care about quality?

Hello fren, my life experience is almost identical to what you describe. I have tried watching wrestling again and I find that it all sucks but the memes are good. I have been enjoying watching random episodes of RAW from the 90's on WWE network though

Unless you're going to be following the modern product week to week just go watch one of the old territories on Peacock like Mid-South, Jim Crockett or World Class. Or watch Nitro or the Attitude Era, or find a torrent for ECW with the original music restored

Only watch the rest of 2012 if you're curious.

Don't watch anything from 2014 that isn't Wrestlemania or Lucha Underground.

Some of 2016 RAW is good but it's a mixed bag. Smackdown was definitely the superior brand/show.

Avoid anything during the "Authority Era" from post-Summerslam 2013 to mid 2016.
