I don't think HHH has ever forgotten Punk's "I don't need to wrestle you, YOU need to wrestle me" rejection of the proposed WM30 match where he was offering to give Punk his win back from NOC 2011 (a hollow meaningless gesture at best as giving the win back 3 yrs later could never undo the damage that was done to Punk right then at that critical time for him when he should have been the one going over back then)
I think HHH/Vince and enough of the power brokers/decision makers in WWE will enjoy being to turn that back around on Punk after all these years and tell him "We don't need you to wrestle for us, you need us to be able to wrestle at all anymore."
WWE is sitting pretty and making more money than they ever have in the history of the company and they are only going to make even more in the next TV rights renewal deal next year. Silly, pie in the sky, retarded levels of money. Still raking in $50+ mill a shot from the Saudis. All income streams far beyond what Punk could ever bring to the table for them. And all that happens with or without him in that company. Right now, they don't need him, he needs them. That's some delicious irony right there.
That's karma Phil.
