Thoughout the show made it clear he’s not happy with the current state of AEW. Bryan didn’t even intervene and defend it like he usually does . I’ll give some cliff notes
> Too many guys; no one sticks out , the stars aren’t being showcased like they should be. Talents you’ve never seen are having a bigger presence than even made guys.
> too many titles : title matches mean nothing because everyone who’s anyone has a title . Even titles from outside AEW hurt the show. The value of any championship has gone down tremendously.
> established stars losing : examples were Britt losing clean too often and the Hardy’s putting over roh talent.
> 50/50 booking : rocky starks and Danielson are effectively in a 50/50 booking program which is what the company was originally against
> open challenges have hurt the show : anyone can challenge for a title without earning it . Number one contenders have disappeared and been replaced which hurts matches having any heat .
He went on to say that this is a very challenging time for AEW. Being the 2nd place promotion who isn’t fighting for number 1 isn’t good . History has shown it’s never good . He’s concerned but sounds like he’s had enough of protecting Tony
