Don't turn him. If that's baked into the cake, I'd go on a big tour trying to rehabilitate his image. Austin turning and then leaving were two big drivers into why I stopped watching the WWE, so I remember.
Getting rid of Triple H won't fix anything as he's still a good villain, but just don't elevate him past a certain level.
Really, you'd need some good new talent because Austin was out of people to feud with. You'd need to book them as somebody who essentially could compete with Austin on a week to week basis.
