In the beginning, I watched AEW from beginning to end.
Now, AEW is on the verge of going the way of RAW.

It has no SOVL. All the workers pretty much are the same size, work the same flippy smark indie style. There are hardly any storylines, and Tony K just throws together random bullshit for the sake of it. Kenny Omega is languishing away in some dumb trios shit when he should be challenging for the World Title. Workers are also EVPs, which is super fucked up for the rest of the boys in the back.

This I think is their biggest downfall at the moment. Whenever the stories backstage are more interesting than the stories happening in the ring your product is fucked. Was the case so long for WWE. They got the Bloodline thing and while that's fizzled out a bit now at least over the last year or so people have come to enjoy their shows far more with the efforts being put towards things, and they've had their moments with all the Vince shit too. The merger as well. Smartest thing AEW could've done was get rid of Punk. Now they just need a solid string of good PPVs which they can usually pull off and now that he won't be there to pull all the spotlight and discussion on himself they can actually ride some momentum ideally.

They hitched their wagon to the entirety of non-WWE wrestling, making everything else look like a joke by association. Anything that isn't the WWE house style is now forever tainted and considered a meme. The average fan's conception of lucha in 2023 is green as goose shit, 20 year old Komander botching a rope walk move. Even the idea of having a TV-14 wrestling show in the modern day has been made embarrassing by Moxley swearing and blading on live TV.
AEW fucked literally everything up and may end up being responsible for the death of non-WWE wrestling as they sucked everything but CMLL, which is propped up by the tourism industry, into their gay vortex.

I don’t like when a wrestler clearly missed a dive and the other guy still bumps.
I don’t like weak strikes or strikes that mess by a mile.
I don’t like matches where they have a crazy spot 5 minutes in and then cut to commercial and then the match goes another 15 minutes.
I don’t like wrestlers clearly helping each balance on the top rope.
