The Attitude Era in general was and still is overrated. The Ruthless Aggression era was way better, it had a better roster which was on two different brands, better storylines, better matches, better promo packages. The Attitude Era gets overrated by simpletons who think Austin hitting Vince with a frying pan was the peak of the medium.

1998 was pretty good overall. Product was hot as hell.
1999 was good until SummerSlam, when it was clear Austin and Taker were getting out of the main event scene and the awkwardness of Triple H's first title run.
2000 was overall a solid year, albeit it did kinda sink around Survivor Series.
