pop autists confuse me. Like you do know that it’s literally impossible to compare pops, because of the differences in audio technology, broadcast conditions, and building acoustics at any given event, right?

You could measure decibel levels inside an arena, though they don't do that and even if they did they wouldn't release that information.

right, if they started now they could begin comparing going forward, but it's not like you'd ever be able to objectively establish that a 2023 Cena pop is bigger than an Austin pop or a Road Warrior pop or a Hogan pop or a Von Erich pop or whatever, so the whole idea of "loudest pop ever" is silly
