I wanted my dad to buy me WWE 2K14 for my birthday and he hit me with a shoot "you know it's fake though, right?"
He got it for me and on the second day he asked me if it's actually fun, which it was. Still a weird experience though.

My mom joined me in watching wrestling for a few years, got worked hard by Del Rio of all people and sometimes even yelled at the screen "you're a faggot" when he was on, she loved the shield very much and was legit shocked whem Seth betrayed them, also cried a bit when Cena proposed to Nikki

My mom used to watch WCW in the 90s and was a huge Sting mark and watched WWE with me as a kid. My dad hates pro wrestling, but that's because he also has an amateur wrestling background and just "doesn't get it".

pretty sure both my parents watched at least some World of Sport, and my mum watched WWE with us as kids and took my younger brother to some WWE shows when we were kids. I never was into the idea of going live.

Yes. My earliest memory is being 3 years old and watching WCW Main Event with my grandfather. We're a southern family so everyone watched it up until WCW was bought out.

They would rarely join me as SmackDown would come on a free channel in Europe in like 08-09. Neither didn't care for it much but dad always cheered when Big Show would come out and my mom thought Edge was hot.

My dad was a huge Scott Steiner mark. He thought he was crazy in the Big Poppa Pump gimmick. Sadly I haven't spoken to my parents in around 20 years. I don't know what they're up to.

My grandpa used to take my mom to the Cow Palace to see Piper and she still loves that dude to this day. He is her reason for her obsession with everything Scotland and didn't know he was actually Canadian until a few years ago.

My grandparents used to watch the matches back when they were newlyweds. In those days, Vince Sr hadn't consolidated the northeast into a single territory yet so they'd be watching cards promoted by Paul Bowser. I'm pretty sure Verne was the big draw in the Boston territory at the time.

My mom watched with me when I started and will watch PPVs with me occasionally. She didn't watch much prior though. My uncle was the wrestling fan in the family and was a huge mark for Flair and the Horsemen.

Yup, me and my dad (RIP) used to watch it and laugh our asses off, especially in the early 2000's when Hornswoggle was getting brutalized by JBL. He was a firefighter and they had a cheater box at the hall and he'd record ppvs for me. I used to have the first WCW uncensored on vhs lol. Miss ya pops.

Life long mark. Parents' first coversation was a disagreement about if Chief Wahoo McDaniels was a good wrestler.

Maternal side Grandfather died in the 80s. I was 4. One of the stronger memories was staying up late watching Hulk Hogan on Saturday Night Main Event with him.

Paternal side Grandfather died late 90s. He watched Nitro up through the Wolfpack era before he passed. He also lived where he could catch Smoky Mountain Wrestling on the antenna.
