Gimmicks like these will never go over now a days. These were based off hard rock/metal, which was popular and big in those days. Music has changed for the worse, now all you’ll get is rap/hip hop (check NXT tag teams) zoomer shit. They tried with the Ascension and failed, zoomers don’t like high testosterone shit.

Tag teams were never cool. You can name 10-15 tag teams worth a shit tops throughout the entire history of wrestling and most of those are from the 80s and the early 90s.

Only part I agree. 100%. Funny thing about Demolition is they wore black and came out to Thrash metal. That was heelish in the 80s mainstream. In 1998-2003, they would've been faces.

They were also in my opinion. However, I think they were already wrestling under similar gimmicks and then got to put together.

Demolition was nothing like Darsow and Eadie's previous gimmicks.

They were both heavily influenced by Road Warriors... if not rip offs.nsxrhn
