It's a Crunchyroll production.
There will probably be more to the promotion, but it's going weird places with anime integration and things like that. And will be marketed towards their audience.
This show was just a pilot / test run for aspects of it.

I tried. I went to their tiktok page multiple times but no show was streaming so I couldnt watch it. So not my fault they didnt stream off their offical tiktok page cuz I checked it like 20 times thruout the night and absolutely nothing. so either I got the timezones wrong and it was in japan time or something or I had the wrong link. pity I wanted to see it

Yeah, because they botted it. Look at any of their recent clips that have a lot of views, they have basically no likes or comments which is extremely suspect. They were hovering at around 850 live viewers for the majority of their stream, not exactly an impressive number. I don't trust VOW but they just said that they heard a rumor and aren't stating anything authoritatively so whatever

That was always their plan. They were filming a pilot episode for whatever will come in the future, whether that involves being shopped around to distributers or being streamed on demand.
The reason the stream announcement was so last minute was because they originally had no intention of streaming it. It was only their intention to film a pilot.

It was obvious from watching it. There were two sets of cameras. See that thing on the left there? It's capturing broadcast quality footage for the pilot it was not capturing footage for the stream. They had separate cameras for that. Why would they be capturing broadcast quality footage if they were not filming a pilot?
