Street Fighter 6 is dumb as fuck, but has a lot of potential and it's obvious a lot of passion went in to making it.
Mortal Kombat 1 is a fucking turd that feels like it was made a decade ago (complete lack of QoL features). Some of the characters are really cool but some feel completely passionless. It only gets points because the Assist system is actually pretty cool and dynamic, which will give the game a lot of life, even if you only play 1 characters.
Tekken 8 is just Tekken 7, but way way dumber. Massive focus on gorilla offense and punishes players for playing defensively. Top Tekken players already hate it. Tekken rebalancing is always an absolute shit-fest too, so the game will likely never be good.

It used to be really good, especially when the creators didn't give a fuck what the majority public thought and just went ham on sexuality and violence.
Now? They're constantly caving to the public with each new game, cramming political problems into the stories, making things less sexual, no longer pushing any boundaries with the violence being accepted.
Story and game modes are shit too. Bring back things from Deception, Deadly Alliance, Armageddon and Shaolin Monks.

TL;DR - Fuck modern Mortal Kombat. They had something and they ruined it.
