Embarrassing take. Both Io and Kana have gone so far downhill since joining WWE. I'm surprised they aren't taking Zimmer frames to the ring - they're both so slow compared to how they were in the Japanese scene. Both in their execution speed and the need to constantly stop every few seconds and find the camera, as mandated by the "WWE style". Their moves also look far worse: Kana's strikes move at about half their old speed and are unconvincing. Their move sets have also been denuded and made generic. They apparently even added a Y to Io's name, which seems redundant since I was already asking WHY while watching.

the AEW women's division is dog shit, but the Iyo/Asuka match was only good and nowhere close to what I was expecting at least, Asuka is getting way too soft with her kicks and strikes in general, those backfists were Eddie Kingston bad, her kicks also don't look nowhere as stiff as they used to be at least when she wrestled in Japan, Iyo is still pretty good but also far from her best performances in Stardom, so overall the match was enjoyable only it didn't live up to the expectations and I'm sure they could have a way better match if Asuka can still go as she used back in NXT or in Japan

I thought the match sucked. I usually like Asuka matches but there was so much illogical no selling transition and the crowd was dead. I expected more especially with the time they got
