His gimmick is an ironic comment on modern wrestlers who do way too much acrobatic dangerous workrate shit. OC's gimmick started to prove he could get over by doing the exact opposite of them. But these days he still just wrestles as a regular guy anyway, so it doesn't really matter anymore.

The Colony (OG) was based. OC was really way ahead of his time with the gimmick, and took him a decade to really develop it. In 2011 Fire Ant was way better than OC, in hindsight, yea OC ended up way better off ditching the Colony.

I am personally shocked when AEW fans, who are supposedly all about match quality hold him up in such high regard when his matches are horrificly anti-wrestling.
