TNA was a way better second rate company than AEW. It was unapologetic about its outlaw and over the top nature whereas AEW is very Reddit in tone. I loved how ghetto it was in comparison to WWE & the swerves on each show. It was 100% a very Barstool Sports version of pro wrestling under Russo’s creative & more entertaining than the overly corporate WWE then and now.

There is so much TNA in AEW right now that it's getting annoying. Jeff Jarrett is an executive who gives himself screentime. And title shots.

I don't know WHAT AEW is right now. It's a bad EWR save. The closest feeling to old TNA is probably NXT because they just let guys do whatever wacky vignettes they want.

He was traditional pro wrestling style so it wasn't as flashy as some but, when he was heel, it worked. Cheating compensates the belief of whether somebody was good at wrestling because outside interference and guitar shots win matches.

Never my favorite, but he's been over with me since his WWF Attitude Era run.

I hate AEW because I hate Tiny's booking and decision-making. I refuse to watch out of principle even when I approve of players still there like Darby, Kris, MJF, Bullet Club Gold, etc.

They are wasted there as Tiny's booking will never allow anything to truly matter nor be fulfilling and meaningful.

Now AEW is not long until it becomes the next Impact, if that point is not already reached.

He can get heat just by existing and standing there. Now like all wrestlers he's got too big of a head especially if he's booking himself. That said he can generate heat better than most.

Why is AEW darker? I don't mean the crowd, I get why they're dark, but the ring, the stage, the backstage, etc. Everything in WWE is very bright and colorful. It's signature is being bright and colorful. It helps maintain their image of being the first rate company. Even when WCW was winning, your average fan would think of it as cheap and second rate when compared to WWE's product. I don't know why people don't try to compete with them in that department because that's their competitive advantage. If you compete with better wrestling or better storylines, you will fall..

Well it absolutely was definitely better as a competitor to WWE. In fact I mostly preferred it despite its numerous awful decisions. The biggest downfall they made was not propping up their stars more and on time. They also gambled too much on the old timers paying them too much for little gain. Outside of Sting and Angle most of them were a net negative. I'd say after the MEM angle concluded (which should have been handled better) they should have eventually just cut all those guys sooner or let the contracts run out. They especially didn't need to be giving Mick fucking Foley a title when he was broken down shell of himself.

I'm too young for the Monday Night Wars and this was my first thought when I watched WCW for the first time
