He's technically proficient; he has shown that he can hang with the best chain wrestlers and brawlers. He's good enough that he doesn't have to leave the canvas. You haven't really seen it because he's getting in all the flippy shit while he still can.

yes, very good. He was basically Nick Wayne in 2013 but instead of taking the easy route (shitty NXT or shitty Impact), he slogged through the Japanese tour system and made an effort to transform his body and style. Still a bit spotty but not like he used to be. Also projects a big aura like at Wembley. He could be top tier in WWE or AEW.

Hit and miss. He gained some mass and recklessness after all his shoulder and neck problems. However, he can be incredibly overrated and he tries far too hard to make every singles match into a Wrestlemania spectacle and kicks out of everything.

The week to week booking leading up to that match on AEW's side was assembled in like a few weeks. You had to be also a NJPW mark on top of that in order to see the long term "storytelling" of it. Not everyone watches gook shit.

Depends on what you like.
He does way less stupid facial expressions. And is much better at structuring matches.
But ultimately he's limited himself to being a "good at everything" character, where he can't really do anything in his matches beyond exchanging the smark approved moves.

Actually if you were a New Japan mark you'd have understood that the story behind the WK match was "Will reverted to his past self and lost, he needs to move forward and become the Commonwealth Kingpin to defeat Omega" but Tony likes Elevated so Ospreay uses that also he won because Callis cheated despite UE not being a cheating heel faction in serious matches.
