It was good. Threads were funny. The console warring was mainly WWE vs Elite posing as NJPW and before that was RAW vs Smackdown. But even then it was just banter. Nowhere near as bad as today.

/asp/ peaked in 2016 when no one talked about anything but WWE. Everyone was laidback, everyone was joking around, no one seriously care about anything and we all had fun. 2017 was when meltzer radicalized the iwc by giving that boring omega okada match seven stars or whatever it was. Suddenly we just had to talk about how amazing the elite are and how you can't make fun of them or new japan like you do wwe because it's actually really good (it wasn't)
