>>11702510>>11702912For even deeper lore, Dragon Lee challenged for the NA title back in August after Rhea called him Batman, and it had a fucky finish, which led to Rhea/Dom v Lyra/Dragon; since Lee pinned Dom in that match, he wanted a title shot but Mustafa Ali was already pissy about never getting a singles title shot. This is what led to the match between Ali and Lee with Dom as special guest referee, and in typical heel ref fashion, Dom fucked on Dragon.
Ali was finally next in line, number one contender and a title match set for No Mercy, but Lee had already gone to Adam Pearce and got another title shot on Raw. Ali, understandably pissed, cut a promo that he was going to make a scene at Raw, but then he got fired out of fucking nowhere.
Dom and Dragon then had their match where Dom won.
>you are hereDom might still have a match for No Mercy, unsure if Dragon gets a rematch since he's already lost twice to Dom, Trick Williams made some noise on social media about wanting a shot and they interacted on NXT last week so it would be a hotshot, but there aren't many other options that wouldn't be even sloppier booking.
Dom might even get the match pulled all together, we'll probably find out tonight.
