Every week WWE gets 'Holy Shit' and has to mute their show and every week AEW gets 'Fuck' chants. How long until sponsors or the FCC or whoever forces them to mute?
Have fans always been this obnoxious?

FCC doesn't have jurisdiction of cable. It's completely USA and TNT'S call for those shows. Smackdown is different because it's network TV.

The only thing stopping cable from full blown nudity and cursing is the coalition of networks, service providers, and advertisers. That's why some channels like comedy central would occasionally air uncensored programs at midnight, because the adrates were shit and the only thing being shown were scams. The FCC only has jurisdiction over broadcast networks because the government owns the means of communication.
