I've been watching WWE for decades, and since Cena left for Hollywood I've felt like there isn't an actual face the crowd can get behind based on a combination of ring work, mic skills, look, and charisma. It's all meme theme songs, gestures like the Jey Uso wave, and that's about it. The best workers in the company are all heels.
What gimmicks do the top faces have? Cody Rhodes wants to be his Dad, Jey Uso wants to prove he's more than just a twin, Seth is trying desperately to connect with zoomers by acting like a spaz (he was cool as the Architect so I'm not sure why he changed the gimmick), and Knight is cosplaying as the Rock and Stone Cold, even doing his own variations of their finishers. Based on these traits, how do you market them to millions of people?

Let's look at the the heels for comparison: Roman is a manipulative mob boss who believes he owns the WWE and he can have whatever he wants, Dom is a chickenshit heel who was corrupted into turning on his Father and only wins by cheating or luck, Waller is a narcissistic troll who gets off on antagonizing people for the lulz, Miz is a delusional narcissist who thinks he's an A-list Hollywood actor.
