Why the fuck is AEW so afraid to book a smaller venue? I’d 1,000x prefer a packed, noisy, smaller venue, than a half empty arena.

they can get more on the day of or days leading up to the show. if they book a venue that holds under 2k, then they are just limiting themselves.

Tony probably wants the prestige of booking large venues but he's a moron so he doesn't understand it makes AEW look bush league and pathetic to run stadiums and arenas they can only fill to 20-50% capacity.

These. You can't predict when/if you might get something that drives ticket sales going. And to the average person at home it looks like they've got a decent crowd because they aren't analysing the background for tarps.
