It really isn't that crazy that the biggest promotion that pays the most has the best wrestlers.

And while I do count Ilja and Gunther (especially Gunther) as being among the best wrestlers in the world, I would say that most of the world top 10 in-ring list features guys from other places. NJPW mainly but also AEW, NOAH, etc

I think anyone would admit that WWE has a roster stacked with talent
It's just rare that they get matches where they can showcase it

Matches like Gable vs. Guntherr and Ilja Gunther are the exception, not the rule.
You typically don't get to see if a guy can really go and where their cardio is for a top tier 20-30 minute broadway in WWE
